 | UNDP Knowledge Services In the current economy, changing behaviors and attitudes increase the demand for a wealth of knowledge. The acquisition and update of knowledge and skills is a key factor for the success of individuals and organizations. UNDP aims to respond to such needs through the development of valuable learning experiences. The project provides a wide range of services, from tailor-made training programmes for leading businesses and public sector organizations to small-scale consultancy assignments. |
 | Assistance to the Central State office for Development Strategy and Coordination of EU Funds (CODEF) As the institution responsible for developing and monitoring the implementation of the National Development Strategy, UNDP is assisting the CODEF through provision of advisory and training services as well as IT tools for monitoring the strategy. It also provides assistance to CODEF to develop internal capacity on legal issues. |
 | Emerging Donor: Support to National Capacities for Development and Cooperation As a relatively small country that will have in the short-term only limited resources available for development cooperation, Croatia will have to establish mechanisms to ensure the most effective use of development cooperation funds both for bilateral and multilateral use. The project assists Croatia in its transition from a recipient of official assistance to a donor country. It is designed to strengthen national capacities through the elaboration of a national strategy/programme for development cooperation and project management capabilities to plan, coordinate, deliver, monitor and evaluate development assistance. |
